From Bangalore	by car or bus; approximately 8 hours running time. There are plenty of excellent sleeper buses , so you can sleep your way to Cannanore
From Madras -	by overnight train journey or by air to Calicut and onwards by road or rail.
From Calicut	two hours by road or by train.
From Cochin	six hours by train or road.
From Trivandrum	by overnight train journey.
